Technology Designer 1

Responsibilities Work under the direction of senior designers to produce construction documents in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other production tools. Evaluate and apply state-of-the-art low voltage technology systems, techniques, procedures, designs and modifications. Understand technology infrastructure systems, including communications structured cabling, outside plant systems and fiber‑optic systems. Understand medical technology systems design such as nurse call, patient EETV, physiological monitoring, EMS radio and distributed antenna systems. Assist in preparation construction documents and specifications. Take on contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolution. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification is helpful. Familiarity with Microsoft suite of programs. Familiarity with Bluebeam REVU. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work in a high-velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality. Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and keep a daily schedule of activities. Familiarity with engineering drawings. Strong desire for continuous learning. Selected applicant may be subject to periodic government background checks when required by client. Strong preference given to local candidates. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
