Principal Quality engineer- Automation

We are looking for an experienced Principal Quality Engineer – Automation who is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and driving quality engineering practices across complex data-driven platforms. Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States Work Model: Onsite – Work From Office (5 days a week) Experience: 6–10 Years Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and data pipelines Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions Perform backend validation and data pipeline testing using SQL Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend, API, and database layers Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases Drive automation strategy, quality best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering Hands-on experience with Selenium, PyTest, Playwright, or REST Assured Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration Strong SQL and backend testing skills Familiarity with Git workflows and version control Bonus: Exposure to performance testing (JMeter), security testing (ZAP), BDD tools (Cucumber), AWS, Docker #J-18808-Ljbffr HiLabs
