Candidates must be willing to work in any Unit/Program and any shift to meet the needs of the facility. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nutrition Services, the Registered Dietitian will perform meaningful nutrition assessments, provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) integrated with patients’ treatment plan goals, and provide nutrition counseling/education. The role is an integral member of the clinical interdisciplinary team. Candidates must possess knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process, development of nutrition care plans, and principles, practices and theories of nutrition and dietetics. Electronic Medical Records and Computrition skills are desirable. The position requires independent work with minimum supervision, accurate situation analysis, and effective decision making. Candidates must have good verbal skills, read and write English at the required level, and communicate with presentation/production staff and all levels of program and administrative staff, including control agencies such as CMS, licensing and The Joint Commission. Minimum Qualifications Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
