Job Responsibilities Performday-to-daystoreopeningandclosingproceduresthroughapplicationsofSAS philosophy, standards of service, cleanliness and caring. Makeweeklybank deposits. Provideafriendlywelcomingenvironment,bysmiling,greetingandacknowledging every customer when they enter the store and engaging them in conversation. Helpeverycustomertohaveaseat,takeofftheirshoes,measuretheirfeet,and fitthem with the right SAS shoes. Showdifferent categoriesofshoes,handbags, andshoecareproducts. Getcomfortablewithoperatingourpointofsale(POS)computersystemsforsales, returns, charges, checks and receiving transfers. GainproductknowledgeonallSASitems,believethatSASarethebestAmerican-made qualitycomfort footwear and demonstrate that enthusiasm and belief for theproduct and the company's philosophy through your daily words and actions. Bereadytoworkatyour scheduled time. Beabletoexecute timeand effectivelycomplete special projects. Job Qualifications Somecomputerabilitywiththe POSsystemsand MS Office. Haveagreatcommunicationsskillsandexceptionalcustomerservice. Mature,responsibleand hardworking. Respectfulandcaringtoco-workers. Possessahighlevelofintegrity,respectandempathyforallemployeesatalllevelsofthe company, as well as all visitors, vendors and customers. Passion,integrityand energyto achieve greatnessforSAS andtheteam. Accountableforactions. Musthavegoodattendance. Self-motivatedanda collaborativeteamplayer. Mustobtainavaliddriver’slicense. Physical Requirements Mustbeable to lift50 lbs., sometimes with help. Standingforlongperiodsoftime,frequentbendingtotieandfitshoes,climbingand moving. Requiredtohaveclosevisualacuitytoperformanactivitysuchasviewingacomputer, visual inspection, and prepare and analyze projects. Abletofrequentlycommunicatewiththe customersand coworkers. Sometravelisexpectedso mustbeabletotravel if andwhenit's needed. Abletooperate avehicle. Education&ExperienceRequirements HighSchooldiplomaor equivalents Retailexperienceispreferredbutnotrequired. Hours Ableto work dayand night hours includingweekends.
