Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General specializing in COVID-19 cases is sought for a healthcare organization in Petaluma, California. This position involves performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures across various patient populations, with a focus on general sonography. The role supports the organizations commitment to quality patient care in a community hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: 400 N. McDowell Blvd., Petaluma, CA 94954
• Shift: Variable ten-hour shifts, with start times at 6:30 a.m. or 11 a.m.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ARDMS certification, ARRT R certification, BLS certification, RVT certification, at least two years of sonography experience, community hospital experience, and travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic (Electronic Medical Record) charting experience.
• Responsibilities: Conducting ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, breast, thyroid, pediatric, and other specialized exams listed in the skills section. May be required to float between sister facilities in the vicinity.
• Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT R, BLS, RVT, at least one in ARDMS category.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of sonography experience.
• Additional Requirements: Must include SSN, date of birth, and RTO documentation during submission. A willingness to work a minimum of two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and the ability to float within the region are essential. References covering a one-year period are required.
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccination status unknown.
