Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Special Education Teacher certification required (LBSI preferred)
• Experience in self-contained classroom settings, ideally grades 4-5
• Familiarity with Unique or STAR curriculum a plus
• Commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead a self-contained classroom of 7-8 students in grades 4 and 5
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curricula to student needs
• Collaborate with other special education staff in a supportive building-wide team
• Engage in professional development, teacher orientation (if onboarded before August 5), and ongoing staff collaboration
