Labor & Employment Associate Attorney – Orange County Or Los AngelesDirect Counsel is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join a highly respected, full-service law firm with offices in both Orange County and Los Angeles.The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of employment litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on wage and hour class actions. This role offers the opportunity to work across single-plaintiff and class action matters, while also providing day-to-day employment counseling to clients.Key Responsibilities:Litigate wage and hour class and representative actionsHandle single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claimsDraft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motionsProvide employment law counseling on issues such as leaves, accommodations, discipline/termination, and compliance(Optional but preferred) Assist with traditional labor mattersQualifications:4+ years of Labor & Employment experience, with wage and hour class action experience requiredPrior experience advising employers on workplace compliance and risk managementCalifornia Bar admission requiredStrong academic credentials and writing skillsCompensation:Base salary: $250,000 – $275,000Total compensation potential (including discretionary bonus): $375,000 – $425,000+, based on billable performanceOrigination credit available for business brought in
