This contract position is available for the 2026/2027 school year, offering a part-time schedule near Kankakee, IL. You’ll work three days a week, with each day running 7 hours and 40 minutes (including a 30-minute lunch), delivering vital Occupational Therapy (OT) services to students in a school-based setting.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Occupational Therapy license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and a therapy team
• Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized student therapy plans
• Team-oriented mindset for working alongside fellow OTs and COTAs

Your Role Includes:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs
• Creating and implementing individualized occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborating with other OTs, COTAs, teachers, and administrative staff to support student success
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records per district guidelines
• Participating in team meetings and providing consultation to support students’ access to learning
