Responsibilities include the performance of clerical duties necessary to register patients for outpatient therapy services; making payment arrangements as needed; scheduling patient appointments; and contacting patient and physicians to maintain continuity of care. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred One year of bookkeeping, general computer experience preferred Medical/Dental front office experience preferred Must be knowledgeable in general office computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word) Must have the ability to work cooperatively with other employees and the general public in a fast-paced customer oriented environment Summary Gonzales Healthcare Systems, located in Gonzales, Texas has an immediate opening in the Therapy Services Department for the position of Patient Services Representative . Our facility is a 33-bed general hospital providing in-patient acute care to the residents of Gonzales County. The hospital offers a wide range of services including obstetrics, in-patient and outpatient therapy services, diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI and Digital Mammography, full-service laboratory, general and orthopedic surgery, and has a Level IV Trauma Designation.
