Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity available in Austin, Texas. This position is for a 13-week contract working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves caring for high-risk maternal patients within a Level 4 maternal center known for its exceptional care and advanced technology.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Discipline: Labor and Delivery Department
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, experience with high-risk maternal patients, circulating in operating room and triage, proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems including CPN and Meditech, and no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Additional Information: The unit has a strong tenure of staff and supportive leadership, undergoing renovations to modernize rooms, and is recognized as "Americas Best Maternity Hospital 2023" by Newsweek and rated Grade A- by Leapfrog, the highest level of care designation for Texas.
• Responsibilities include managing high-risk maternal cases, vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placements, D&C procedures, hysterectomies, and PASD cases.
