Hiring Behavioral Technicians 26/27 School Year

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking Classroom Aides for the 2025–2026 school year within the Orange County Unified School Districts. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the educational development of students across Orange County!

In this role, Classroom Aides will:

• Provide direct support to students requiring behavioral interventions.

• Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to manage maladaptive and aggressive behaviors.

• Support students in staying on track with academic tasks, including homework and classwork.

• Collaborate with school staff and supervisors to ensure students receive consistent and effective behavioral support.

• Support in both special education and general education classrooms

• Minimum High School Diploma or College degree preferred

• Full Time, Part Time, or On-Call Substitutes

• Availability at least 2–5 weekdays per week (Full time & Part time)

• Flexibility between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

What We Offer:

• Monday - Friday

• Morning & Day shifts - 8:00am - 3:00pm

• Afterschool Shifts - 12pm-6pm

• Competitive Pay Rate - up to $25 / Hour

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
