Job Category Fitness, Personal Training, Coaching Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Required Degree High school Manage Others No The Full-Time Trainer is a core, high-impact role responsible for delivering elite training experiences across group fitness, boxing, kickboxing, and personal training programs. This position blends coaching, sales, client engagement, and programming execution. Full-Time Trainers will lead dynamic classes, build and grow their personal training clientele, deliver consistent member engagement, and support club-level success by driving retention and revenue. Trainers must embody X3’s values at all times and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and energy. This position follows X3’s Trainer Classification Structure requirements, including facilitation hour minimums and PT revenue thresholds for full-time status. Requirements Qualifications: Fitness: Personal Training Certification (Accepted personal training certifications include NSCA, ACSM-CPT, ACE, ISSA, or AFAA, or a comparable certification) Striking: classes including Kickboxing, Boxing and Muay Thai All Disciplines: CPR, AED, and First Aid Summary The X3 Sports Level 1 Trainer is the face of X3 Sports to members and guests and is responsible for facilitating personal training and a high-quality level of a specific discipline within the X3 Sports class structure, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality fitness experience to all members. Key Performance Outcomes: Quality service Discipline knowledge and curriculum followed Key Responsibilities: Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards and leading by example in delivering the X3 Sports Promise to all members Consistently executes and exceeds the basics in punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness, and cleanliness, thus maintaining a clean, friendly, and well-maintained club Responsible for the successful attainment of personal targets, including personal training percentages and member retention Improves member engagement, activity, and retention Responsible for ensuring all students have proper equipment for designated class Responsible for up-keeping class equipment and cleaning class equipment and floors after class Maintains current certifications for discipline as outlined under qualifications Facilitates personal training and teaches specialty discipline classes, maintaining a minimum of 25 facilitated hours per week Promotes fitness and wellness through personalized training programs for specific individuals and designs programs for members, combining individual health and fitness goals with fitness assessment results Conducts complimentary assessments for members and uses the opportunity to encourage the purchase of personal training Maintains a positive team environment and professional relationship with staff and members Job Expectations: Work involves heavy physical activity in areas such as lifting, pulling, pushing, crawling, and climbing. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Experience in training/teaching groups as well as the individual. Ability to work with beginners to advanced level students.
