Full-Time Drivers WantedMotivate is looking for full-time drivers to operate vehicles to transport bicycles and replace batteries for Bay Area's bikeshare system. Drivers will need to be available to work a mixture of both weekday and weekend day (morning and evening shifts). Please note that schedules are subject to change as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and for business need.About the RoleDrive a large company vehicle (for example, a cargo van) throughout the bike share system to switch out batteries, bringing the depleted batteries to the depot to be recharged, following your assigned routeDrive a large company vehicle (for example, a cargo van) for the purpose of moving bikes within the network of bike stationsLoad and unload materials, bicycles, and batteries from vehiclesPerform pre/post trip inspections for every vehicle trip, report vehicle issues to management, and clean vehicle as necessaryFollow safe work practices and adhere to all workplace policiesCommunicate with dispatch/management throughout shiftAbout YouYou have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordYou are comfortable using a smart phone with appsYou are comfortable driving, stopping, maneuvering, and working in busy, urban outdoor environmentsYou are dependable and follow an assigned scheduleYou follow instructions, ask questions, and request feedback to improve performanceYou can lift/push/pull to 75 pounds; stoop, bend, kneel, or stand for long periods of timeAbout MotivateWe are the premier micromobility service operations and infrastructure experts, delivering bikeshare operations management services to many of the nation's largest cities.
