Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a school-based contract near Longmont, CO, with an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through the academic year. This onsite position focuses on supporting students at both elementary and high school levels, helping them thrive in their educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Creative problem-solving skills to adapt to varied student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students on assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to implement therapy strategies
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
- Serve three days a week at an elementary school and one day at a high school
Position Details:
- Contract runs from August 18, 2026, through June 3, 2027
- 34 hours per week, working Tuesday through Friday (no school on Mondays)
- Support students in an onsite capacity for one school district
