About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Route Driver for a local, primarily no-touch route in Columbus. This role involves daily trailer movements between customer facilities and a plant, with consistent weekday scheduling and opportunities for ongoing work.

Pay & Schedule

$28 per hour
Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,120
40 hours per week
Overtime after 40 hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Job Details

Local route
Truckload deliveries in the Columbus area
Primarily no-touch freight
Drop-and-hook operations
Daily trailer moves between customer facilities and a plant

Key Responsibilities

Handle local truckload deliveries throughout the Columbus area.
Pick up trailers at customer facilities and deliver them to the plant.
Deliver trailers containing repaired pallets to customer facilities.
Perform primarily drop-and-hook, no-touch freight operations.
Operate safely and comply with all applicable transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
