Mechanical Assembly Technician - 2nd Shift in Layton

Mechanical Assembly Technician LACO Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to work on our 2nd shift. This position is key to providing on‑time assembly for our Vacuum Systems division. The role requires mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow in your craft. The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions, operate common hand & power tools, and have a basic knowledge of computers. About LACO LACO is a custom project manufacturing firm specializing in vacuum and leak testing technology serving domestic and international markets. The systems we manufacture are unique to our customers’ needs, meaning employees are not doing the same thing day after day. We serve Aerospace, Automotive, Medical/Pharmaceutical, and other technology industries, with customers such as SpaceX, Apple, NASA, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed, Boeing, and Merck. Desired Skills Read and follow instructions. Knowledge of assembly equipment and tools. Highly motivated, self‑starter, capable of working independently as well as in a team setting. Basic computer skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Education & Experience 3‑5 years of work experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience, plus a $1.00 shift differential. Shift: Monday through Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.
