We are looking for a dedicated professional who enjoys helping residents improve their functional abilities, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life.Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities, this is a great chance to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.What We OfferCompetitive pay of $50–$55 per hour, depending on experienceFlexible scheduling: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRNComprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)401(k) retirement planSupportive and collaborative rehabilitation teamOpportunities for professional growth and developmentKey ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy treatments to residents as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), functional tasks, and daily routines.Document treatments, resident progress, and services accurately and promptly in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control procedures, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance guidelines.Communicate regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding resident progress, treatment goals, and discharge planning.Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to support positive outcomes.Participate in resident care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.Assist with training Restorative Aides and provide staff education on occupational therapy-related topics as appropriate.Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, home exercise programs, fall prevention, safety techniques, and maintenance programs.Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment to promote independence with daily activities.Monitor therapy equipment and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and company records.Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement initiatives, and rehabilitation program development as assigned.QualificationsCurrent and active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Experience in a skilled nursing, subacute, or post-acute rehabilitation setting preferred.Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment techniques, activities of daily living, and rehabilitation principles.Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.Make a Difference Every Day!At All Saints Sub Acute and Skilled Nursing, we are committed to helping residents achieve their highest level of independence through quality rehabilitation and compassionate care.If you're a dedicated COTA looking for a rewarding opportunity with flexible scheduling and competitive pay, we'd love to meet you!Apply today and become part of the All Saints Sub Acute and Skilled Nursing team!We are an equal opportunity employer.
