Developer-Full Stack Senior - Workspace Engineer

Senior Developer Workspace Engineer We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Developer Workspace Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, building, and advocating for developer workspaces and tooling to ensure seamless developer onboarding and day-2 support. The ideal candidate will be a blend of an experienced developer, end-user technology expert, and tech evangelist. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Python and Java development Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to educate other developers Experience in developing tools to enhance developer workflows Experience with CI/CD improvements through new tooling and commonly available libraries Prior work experience in the client's industry Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with SCCM, VDI, or similar technologies for desktop provisioning and software package management Experience in integrating Generative AI capabilities into developer workflows Familiarity with audit, risk, and governance requirements Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design and implement developer workspaces using physical, virtualized, or browser-based solutions Develop tools primarily in Python and Java to enhance developer workflows Partner with end-user collaboration suites to create seamless developer experiences Lead initiatives to integrate Generative AI capabilities into developer workflows Evangelize best practices and solutions within the developer community Company Benefits & Culture Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunities for professional development and growth Collaborative and innovative work environment Artech
