Location: Tulsa 

Assembly Pay Rate and Hours: 

• $20- $22/hour depending on experience
• Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:30pm (Overtime is available)

Assembly Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and other required preparation methods.
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to industrial equipment and components using approved techniques and equipment.
• Perform all prep work necessary to ensure proper paint adhesion and finish quality.
• Mix and prepare paint materials according to manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Inspect surfaces before, during, and after the painting process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct and document required quality checks and testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with MIL specifications and testing requirements when applicable.
• Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and work areas in safe operating condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer deadlines and specifications.

Assembly Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience painting industrial equipment, machinery, or fabricated products.
• Knowledge of MIL testing requirements and quality standards.
• Experience performing surface preparation and prep work for industrial painting applications.
• Ability to identify coating defects and perform corrective actions as needed.
• Knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and drying/curing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and paint system requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to industrial coatings and chemicals.
