Lead Software Engineer - Java

Leading the development of secure backend services, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer - Java will design and implement Java Spring Boot microservices for identity and access management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engineering best practices and enhance cloud-native services on AWS. Key responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices implementing OAuth 2.0 and OIDC protocols Lead architectural design sessions and produce technical documentation for new platform capabilities Collaborate with product managers and security architects to align on requirements and priorities Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering with Java and Spring Boot 3+ years of experience with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC / SAML 2.0 protocols 3+ years of experience designing and operating microservices on AWS 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Docker and Kubernetes Proven experience leading technical design and mentoring engineers on a team
