Reports to: Distribution Manager

Drivers are responsible to deliver product on time in a safe manner. They must maintain product integrity in transit, verify delivery and return quantities and clean trucks.

This is a third shift job. It can be from 10pm to 5 or 6am and can be 4 to a 6 day work week.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify delivery quantities and load trucks.
• Deliver product in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain product integrity throughout delivery cycle.
• Count and collect returns.
• Accurately complete all delivery tickets.
• Upon return to facility, unload racks and baskets and ensure truck is clean.
• Communicate with the Distribution Manager concerns that are impeding efficient performance of tasks.
• Communicate to the Distribution Manager customer complaints regarding product quality, delivery or service.
• Perform additional duties upon request.
• Complete the Driver Log and Delivery checklist and ensure that all tasks are complete.
• Practice "Clean As You Go."
• Report to work on time and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Perform according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety guidelines throughout the production shift.
• Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Drivers license with good driving record.
• Physically able to load, unload and deliver racks.
• Must have knowledge of basic math and reading (English) skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
