Job Title Physical Therapist - Travel Location Hiram, Georgia Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Hiram, GA. Employment Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the setting, following guidelines for the facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged). For candidates with an appropriate background, 6 months may be accepted. BLS required State-specific licensing Physical stamina: ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Requirements: BLS, 2 Years Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Compensation Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
