Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients to restore, maintain, or improve functional independence
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies to support daily living activities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Wyoming or ability to obtain prior to start
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a clinical or post-acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance standards in a SNF setting
