Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for a Quality Lab Technician to join their team in the Kingston area. This position offers significant opportunities for professional development and career progression. Candidates with experience in dimensional and laboratory testing are highly encouraged to submit their applications.
Responsibilities:
Performing laboratory tests and analysis on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
Collecting and recording test results accurately, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring the validity of test results
Preparing test samples, reagents, and solutions, as well as maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies
Following SOP and good laboratory practices to ensure accuracy.
Maintaining accurate documentation of all testing procedures and results
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the quality control department
Required Qualifications:
1-2 years working experience in a manufacturing environment
Associated degree or comparable on-the-job experience
Familiarity with standard PPE protocols relevant to the role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
Experience with precision measuring: tools like micrometers, calipers
Calibrating
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk the production area during the workday
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout restrictions
Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required
Pay Rate: $18.50
