Physician-Hematology/Oncology (Close to Me Program)

Overview

A recruitment/relocation incentive may be offered to highly qualified candidate(s). This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) – a student loan payment reimbursement program.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: Competitive salary with annual performance bonus and regular salary increases.
• Paid Time Off: 50–55 days per year (26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possible 5 days for CME).
• Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401(k) with up to 5% agency contributions.
• Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care coverage (many federal programs can be carried into retirement).
• Lcation/License: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
• CME: Possible reimbursement (full-time with board certification).
• Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided.
• Contract: No physician employment contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm.
• EDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive.
