As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for the design of building and site electrical systems. The candidate shall be highly motivated, outgoing, and a resourceful team player to complement our team. This position would be based out of our Warren, NJ headquarters.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for small to large and simple to complex projects in life sciences / pharmaceutical / research, multi-family residential, K-12 and higher education, health care, commercial, and industrial facilities, including building power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, security, IT/AV and other low voltage systems.Collaborate with architects, contractors (when appropriate), and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall building design. Communicating with other disciplines to ensure project documents are properly coordinated.Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to size and elect equipment and optimize system performance.Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.Use computer aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents, including written specifications.Participate in project meetings, offering expertise and guidance to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.Respond to client questions and comments, review contractor submittals, and provide clarifications and field observations during construction.Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with company design and production standards.Qualifications and RequirementsRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain is highly preferred.B.S.
