About the Role Anthropic is looking for an Enterprise Communications Manager. This central role shapes how Anthropic presents itself to enterprise customers, partners, and buyers. The role spans the full breadth of enterprise communications: product launches translated for business audiences, vertical narratives and launches for industries like financial services and healthcare, partnership and customer announcements, executive thought leadership, competitive positioning, and content speaking to CIOs, CFOs, and CISOs — reaching millions of business users who rely on Claude daily. You will juggle several projects simultaneously, manage overlapping timelines, and act as a cross‑functional partner comfortable with repeatable playbooks and launching new initiatives. Key Responsibilities Shape product and launch communications so that technical capabilities translate into actionable insights for business buyers. Run partnership and customer announcements end‑to‑end and build a library of proofs for sales and marketing. Craft vertical and industry stories for priority markets and own execution for events such as Industry Days and The Briefing series. Help commercial and product leaders establish distinct voices for media interviews, stage appearances, and social channels. Monitor the competitive landscape, write positioning messaging, and provide spokespeople with clear contrasts. Write across formats, including blog posts, briefing documents, bylines, and social media. Prepare executives for media interviews and speaking engagements. Build relationships with top enterprise technology, business, and industry reporters. Collaborate closely with sales, partnerships, product marketing, and international teams to produce stories with broad influence. Develop playbooks that enable a small team to achieve outsized impact. Minimum Qualifications Strong writing skills across various formats. Experience in enterprise communications across one or more disciplines such as product, partner, customer, vertical, or executive comms. Understanding of how CIOs, CISOs, and CFOs evaluate and adopt technology and ability to write credibly for them. Experience building relationships with the enterprise and business press. Ability to navigate between long‑arc messaging and same‑day turnarounds while maintaining quality. Sharp instincts for competitive positioning with messaging that holds up under pressure. Habit of using AI tools to increase productivity. Genuine interest in responsible AI and ability to thrive when priorities shift. Preferred Qualifications 8–15+ years in enterprise communications, ideally in B2B technology or SaaS. Experience across multiple enterprise communications disciplines. AI or ML product communications experience. Existing relationships with top enterprise technology, business, and industry reporters. Annual Salary

$255,000—$320,000 USD

Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Required field of study: Field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience. Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position. Location‑based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more time in our offices.
