Senior Accountant Consultant POST NUMBER: 204418
$45 - $55 per hour Vaco is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team as a Consultant. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of the accounting function. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and commitment to delivering accurate and timely financial information.
Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)
Pay Rate: $45 - $55 per hour (depending on experience)
Project Length: Approx. 3 - 6 months

Contribute to month-end close processes
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accountants
Provide support during preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and irregularities
Ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Strong skillset in Excel and other ERP software
Commitment to duration and needs of project
