Dance Instructor
Join our dynamic team as a Dance Instructor under the guidance of our Recreation Coordinator! We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual with experience in Mexican Folklorico to inspire youth of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance. You will have the opportunity to choreograph exciting routines, develop a comprehensive curriculum, and create a vibrant, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants. If you thrive in a creative setting and are committed to following City and Department guidelines, we want you to help our dancers shine! Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for Dance Instructor I is $17.06 - $20.75 per hour.
The hiring range for Dance Instructor II is $17.76 - $21.40 per hour.
The hiring range for Dance Instructor III is $20.04 - $23.95 per hour.
The hiring range for Dance Instructor IV is $23.09 - $27.36 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
Dance Instructor I:
- Three years of experience as a dancer.
- To have or obtain CPR, First Aid, Concussion Awareness and Universal Precautions Certifications.
- Ability to be trained to teach beginning class levels.
Dance Instructor II: All of above plus:
- Ability to learn to teach intermediate level dance classes and choreography.
Dance Instructor III: All of above plus:
- Ability to learn to teach advanced level dance classes and choreography.
Dance Instructor IV: All of above plus:
- Ability to take on lead instructor functions and support recreation coordinator in administrative functions as they pertain to the dance program and events.
