Sr. Data Engineer will be part of the SDE product teams and will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Product Owners to build, validate and release Data Products.SDE Sr. Data Engineer will work with Product Mangers and Product Owners in understanding the requirements to develop data products.Responsible for the product design, development, testing and optimizing the performance.Troubleshooting application bugs and perform permanent fixes and improve the reliability and quality.Develop required test cases and test scripts and analyze and review test results with Product Owners.Perform data cleanup to remove unnecessary data that’s just taking up space.Experience extracting data from a variety of sources, and a desire to expand those skills.Knowledge on Strategic Data Environment is helpful.Good Communication Skills to Understand and Pass on Requirements.Skills Required:Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery (BQ), Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataprep, etc.5+ years of experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Flume and Oozie.5+ years of experience with ETL (Data Stage) /ELT and data integration tools.Ability to write MapReduce jobs.Experience in using Visualization tools like QlikView and Apache Super set.Analytical and problem-solving skills, applied to Big Data domain.Good aptitude in multi-threading and concurrency concepts.Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.Agile development experience and working under PDO model.Experience Required:5+ years of professional experience in engineering real time and batch data systems and knowledge in Cloud platform and architecture.Education Required:Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience, technical degree preferred.
