Claims Billing Specialist

Working on a hybrid schedule, the full-time Claims Billing Specialist will manage the preparation of billing data, compliance with contractual provisions, and submission of invoices while collaborating with other staff members in a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities Prepare billing data for submission to payers and ensure compliance with contractual provisions Submit invoices, apply payments, and collect on unpaid claims Enter information into databases for record keeping and maintain confidentiality of client records Required qualifications High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience 0-2+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare Familiarity with insurance portals is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
