Schedule requirements include 3 shifts of 12 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM. Call is required. Every other weekend coverage is necessary. Candidates will be clinically reviewed to determine fit. If clinically approved, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Manager will conduct interviews. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Certification in BLS and ACLS is essential. EPIC experience is required. Candidates must be prepared to care for COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. The maximum allowable request for time off is 7 days. Weekend shifts may be necessary. Floating between units may be required. Candidates with charge experience are preferred. Providing care to neonates and adults in a labor and delivery unit is expected. Developing discharge teaching for parents is part of the role. Continuous evaluation of patient conditions is essential. Maintaining proficiency in the use of medical equipment and technologies is required. Communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are necessary. Additional responsibilities may include assessing maternal and neonatal health, administering medications, and supporting breastfeeding initiatives.
