MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN)

$3000 Sign On Bonus Mayfield Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced full-time Clinical Reimbursment Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the RAI process assuring the timeliness and completeness of the MDS, CAA’s, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan. Responsibilities The MDS Nurse RAC (Resident Assessment Coordinator) reports to the Administrator and is responsible for accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. Provides Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care oversight to ensure appropriate clinical services are provided and appropriate reimbursement is received for each resident which will include compliance with federal and state regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN or LPN Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio 3 years of experience in a long‑term care environment preferred Experience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferred 1-2 years MDS experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
