What You Will Be Doing Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment according to manufacturer and health standards; scrape, rinse, rack, and properly sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Keep dish room, kitchen areas, floors, walls, and equipment clean and organized in compliance with health department and resort standards. Properly store dishes, utensils, and equipment; restock supplies and assist with inventory management to support efficient kitchen operations. Follow all safety procedures, including proper chemical handling and hazard awareness; perform general cleaning and other assigned duties across kitchen areas as needed Empty trash and recycling throughout the kitchen and dish areas; maintain clean, safe, and orderly back-of-house spaces, including floors and waste stations. Position Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. in a busy kitchen environment. Comfortable working in a high-energy setting with noise, interruptions, and the need to quickly shift between tasks while maintaining focus and efficiency. Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, humidity, wet floors, confined spaces, and elevated noise levels typical of commercial kitchens. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions while maintaining a calm, professional attitude under pressure. No prior experience required; basic English communication skills preferred.
