Social Worker I

Houston Methodist seeks a Social Worker I to provide compassionate, patient-centered services within our Community & Social Services department. This entry-level clinician conducts psychosocial assessments, delivers crisis intervention and brief counseling, and coordinates discharge planning and community resources for diverse patients and families. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker I supports safety, care transitions, and well-being while practicing in a mission-driven, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive environment with opportunities for learning, supervision, and professional growth.
