New Graduate Mentorship Build Confidence the Right Way: New graduates will benefit from our structured, one-year New Graduate Mentorship Program, including a dedicated Clinical Mentor, intentional schedule overlap, regular mentor meetings, goal-setting, virtual learning opportunities, and coaching around client communication and professional development.

You'll also have access to our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, offered year-round in a small-group environment where participants typically complete approximately 2040 surgeries, as well as a 2-day Dental Wet Lab led by our veterinary dental specialist and designed to build confidence in everyday dentistry. Pair that structured mentorship with an established hospital environment and a broad GP caseload, and you have an excellent place to develop your clinical judgment while progressively becoming more independent.

More Than Routine GP Surgery & Interesting Cases: For veterinarians who enjoy surgery or want to continue developing their procedural skills, Westonka offers exposure beyond routine spays and neuters. The hospital performs laser surgery, growth removals, emergency wound and laceration repair, splenectomies, intestinal foreign-body procedures, and other advanced surgeries, creating opportunities to continue developing procedural and surgical confidence.

Who We're Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
