Responsibilities Under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, the Respiratory Care Practitioner II is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, considering age and population‑specific needs and patient requirements. In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned as Lead RCP responsible for the section or department during their shift. Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required 2 years experience as an RCP preferred ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained NRP certificate preferred PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required Employment Status Per Diem Shift Variable Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
