Pay Rate: $24 - $25/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (100% Onsite)
Location: Olive Branch, MS 38654
Assignment: 90-Day Contract with Potential for Temp-to-Hire

Summary

The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while partnering with plant leadership to maintain a positive, high-performing workplace. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, benefits support, and policy compliance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and extending job offers.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings and prepare new hire documentation.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and help resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Conduct stay interviews and support employee retention initiatives.
  • Generate HR reports and workforce metrics to support business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Process employment documentation, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment support.
  • Support additional HR projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or plant HR experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HRIS and talent management systems.
