Our employees consistently recognize us as a Best Place to Work because we go above and beyond to ensure that you feel valued, supported, and empowered.About YouWe’re looking for someone who has:A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Integrated Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related fieldA minimum of three years of relevant experienceStrong writing and editing skills, including knowledge of AP style, grammar, and punctuation, with the ability to provide relevant work samplesThe ability to translate complex architecture and engineering information into engaging content that is easily understood by nontechnical audiencesThe ability to distill key thought leadership concepts into compelling articles and targeted media pitchesWorking knowledge of communications, public relations, and marketing practices and principlesMedia relations experience, including developing targeted pitches and building relationships with reportersExperience developing and managing social media content, preferably in a business-to-business environmentKnowledge of, or the ability to learn, website content management systems such as WordPress, content dissemination platforms, and native social media analyticsExperience with media and social monitoring platforms such as Cision, Meltwater, or Muck RackHands-on experience with HubSpot, PR Newswire, or related platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong interpersonal and consulting skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, subject matter experts, technical staff, internal stakeholders, and marketing partnersStrong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and follow up on time-sensitive deliverables independentlyThe ability to lead and manage meetings, including developing agendas, outlining next steps, and clearly communicating decisions and deliverablesFamiliarity with standard office practices and the ability to follow established firm policies and proceduresA collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationshipsA willingness to travel approximately 15%, including overnight stays, based on project and event schedulesThe ability to maintain a regular in-office presence in our Nashville office as part of a hybrid work arrangementPublic relations agency or journalism experience is preferred.
