CT Technologist/FT at MUSC Florence The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. The technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and ensure they are competent in the procedures performed. The technologist must produce images for the interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner. Education Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Work Experience 1 year of radiologic experience. Registry / License Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA), and must obtain Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire date. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. CT/X-Ray Multimodality Technologist/FT at Black River Medical Center (Cades, SC) The CT/X‑ray Multimodality Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor, performs all Radiology/CT procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. The technologist possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above‑mentioned examinations. The technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology. One year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current Basic Life Support (BLS). CT experience is preferred but not required. On‑job training to learn CT is available.
