Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. This role requires a compassionate and skilled individual to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The position will encompass various responsibilities, ensuring the well-being of patients under our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and assessing needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in a medical-surgical (MS) unit is essential.

Work Schedule

The position offers a night shift schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., allowing for a consistent routine while providing exceptional care to patients. The nurse-patient ratio is established at 6:1, ensuring manageable workloads and quality patient interaction.

Additional Information

The role is based in a 40-bed unit that uses MedHost for electronic medical records.

Scrub color required for this position is royal blue.
