The Hawkins Ash CPAs Spring Tax Internship offers an opportunity to develop your skills, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact for clients. What you'll do: Gain hands-on tax-related experience Participate in the January Intern Training event to help you obtain the technical skills needed to start contributing right away Receive on-the-job training and real-world experience working with clients; putting what you learned in the classroom to use Have the opportunity to work directly with staff —from Associates to Partners— and learn directly from them Prepare individual and business income tax returns Conduct tax research and convey information to your supervisor Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements to enable effective and informed decision-making Demonstrate your work ethic, knowledge, and interest in joining Hawkins Ash CPAs full-time Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Our ideal candidate will: Currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Have completed a corporate or individual taxation class Actively be achieving credits to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam Have excellent skills in communication, organization, and attention to detail Exhibit strong computer skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office Hawkins Ash CPAs office locations: Brookfield, Green Bay, La Crosse, Manitowoc, Marshfield, Medford, Mequon, Neenah, Rochester, St. Charles, Winona Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hawkins Ash CPAs, LLP
