Rapha Homecare is seeking a compassionate, dependable Companion Caregiver to provide social engagement, mental stimulation, and fall-prevention monitoring for a client in Pollock Pines, CA.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with seniors and making a positive difference through companionship and attentive support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Companionship & Social Engagement

• Provide friendly conversation and emotional support

• Engage the client in meaningful activities and hobbies

• Encourage social interaction and participation in daily routines

• Promote a positive and stimulating environment

• Mental Stimulation

• Participate in games, puzzles, reading, and memory-enhancing activities

• Encourage cognitive engagement through conversation and interactive activities

• Support the client's overall emotional and mental well-being

• Safety & Fall Prevention Monitoring

• Observe and monitor the client's mobility and safety throughout the day

• Provide standby assistance when walking or moving around the home

• Help maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting fall risks or changes in condition

• Promptly communicate concerns to the care team and family as appropriate

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving, companion care, senior care, or related experience preferred

Compassionate, patient, and engaging personality

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred

Ability to pass a background check and Live Scan screening

Dependable, professional, and attentive to client safety
