Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a full-time inpatient Registered Dietitian to work at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, CA. Hoag Memorial Hospital is a 411-bed hospital located on two campuses. Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! What You’ll Do Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units, including higher acuity patients May work a rotating weekend every 4th or 5th, providing hospital wide coverage Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses Mentor dietetic interns What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring A Registered Dietitian credential with two or more years’ experience in an inpatient setting The ability to maintain excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups Good time management skills, be a self-starter, and a team player The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
