About The Job The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining site reliability by performing high-quality inspections, troubleshooting basic preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, and executing routine maintenance with no supervision. This role includes replacing basic components and assisting in minimizing unplanned downtime through proactive maintenance efforts. What You'll Do Safety and Compliance Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, and following MSHA/OSHA regulations. Maintain a high level of situational awareness to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of yourself and others. Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment to avoid unexpected breakdowns, which might involve component changes, tear‑downs, and rebuilds. Inspect and replace key components that are crucial for maintaining efficient plant operations. Technicians must understand how replacing or servicing parts affects the overall performance and longevity of the equipment. Troubleshoot the root cause of simple issues quickly and efficiently. Maintenance Technicians should be able to fix minor equipment issues immediately to avoid larger breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime. Plant Operations and Maintenance Requirements Monitor equipment performance, such as crushers, screens, and conveyors, to ensure equipment is operating at full capacity. Review and update equipment logs to identify patterns in maintenance needs and determine if any equipment is being overused or consistently breaking down, adjusting the operational schedule, or suggesting repairs before larger issues arise. Salary Range: The base hourly range for this role is between $38.00 - $42.00 per hour . This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.
