Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift role requiring pediatric or Philips equipment experience and Trauma Level II exposure.

Details

• MRI Technologist position within a hospital radiology department
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend work required
• No on-call requirement
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Performs a wide range of MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification required (ARRT R preferred)
• Pediatric or Philips equipment experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I, teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• License required if applicable
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast media preferred
• Skilled in isolation precautions and radiation safety protocols

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic MRI imaging studies across multiple body systems including abdominal, neuro, cardiac, and musculoskeletal exams
• Work within a team structure supporting adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient settings
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions
• Returning staff must have a gap of at least 6 months since their last assignment to be eligible
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront and limited to no more than 2 weeks
• Candidates must be willing to float to affiliate hospitals as needed; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
