Company Description The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 -$95,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Job Description Bayside Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation is looking for a motivated individual with an entrepreneurial attitude and commitment to join our team as a full-time Physical Therapist in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Edgewater. Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports Qualifications Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program Current state of Maryland license, CPR certification Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills Outgoing and energetic personality New graduates welcome to apply Additional Information Bonus program for Eligible Qualified Physical Therapist Candidates Excellent benefits package, including 401k, health, dental, and generous paid time off Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadership Pathway to leadership program Family-friendly work environment Employee discount plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Investment from a company that wants you to succeed and thrive We are proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
