Front end Developer (Angular, Python) - Vice President Location: Irving, Texas, United States Job Type: Hybrid Job Overview The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Citi is seeking a highly motivated, hands‑on front end developer to serve as an Angular‑Python lead in the Wholesale Credit Risk Technology team that serves Institutional Credit Management (ICM). The candidate will partner with onshore and offshore teams to design and deliver innovative technology solutions for the front office Credit Risk Business, using Angular, Python, FastAPI and other modern technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse oneself in the Wholesale Credit Risk Division and gain exposure to business and technology initiatives that maintain a leading position among competitors. Job Responsibilities Research and resolve complex issues, escalating as appropriate. Develop enterprise‑scale, highly componentized applications using Angular, Python, and FastAPI. Hands‑on development experience with Angular and the latest front‑end frameworks. Work with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and other containerized platforms. Effectively interact and collaborate with the development team. Communicate development progress to the Project Lead. Collaborate with onshore, offshore, and matrix teams to implement business solutions. Investigate potential bug scenarios and production support issues. Preferred: Recent experience with Gen AI integrations. Preferred: Experience developing applications in the Financial Services industry.
