Civil Engineering Design Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering designs, plans, and construction documents.
• Design septic systems in accordance with local and state regulations.
• Utilize Carlson software for site development and engineering design projects.
• Perform grading, drainage, utility, and site layout design.
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Assist with permit applications, technical reports, and engineering calculations.
• Conduct site visits and field evaluations as needed.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budgets, and project schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in the civil engineering field.
• Experience using Carlson software.
• Experience with septic system design.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with land development and site design projects.
• Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopedale, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
