Physical Therapist

Job Title

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Evaluates patients' functional, physical, and/or psycho-social status to establish a baseline level of functioning.
• Assesses goals, living skills, physical abilities, caregiver influence on performance, and related needs at admission and as referred.
• Administers functional outcome measures, including manual muscle testing, goniometry, girth measurements, and ADL/IADL assessments.
• Maintains professional knowledge appropriate to the age, sex, and ethnic background of patients served.
• Attends continuing education to maintain licensure and improve job-related knowledge and skills.
• Completes all required VHA training on an ongoing basis.
• Attends and participates in HBPC and PMRS staff meetings.
• Participates in performance improvement and quality monitoring activities.
• Performs other duties and special assignments as requested by supervisor.

Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday; 7:30am to 4:00pm
